What Students Are Saying About theAnti-Bullying Program at BES

Bullying. We hear that word a lot at Berthoud El. We are told to not let it happen to others or ourselves. Our school makes sure we are advised about bullying because it is such a big thing anymore, and if we don't know about it it will happen more. The programs our school offers helps to control the situation but doesn't stop it completely. Bullying may never stop completely but that's why I feel our school programs are so important.

In school bullying is so common but after seeing Berthoud's bullying prevention programs I hardly see it anymore. Paying attention in school not only on work but what is going on around you is so important because if you do you can prevent endless amounts of bullied students.

Basically bullying is just a thing that kids do to make them feel better about themselves. But it's not true. I love and want to thank PBIS and Bully Blockers because it has made an impact on me to include others but also other people in our school. All together some of the people that have been bullied may be your new best friend.

I have been bullied before so I know how it feels, trust me. Since I have had it happen before, I can help my because I know how it feels and it's not good. So if others and I don't bully, it will help everybody not do it. I like our bully systems because if people get bullied teachers can help stop it. Also, we can learn a lot about how to not bully others.

I like how the anti-bully programs stop bullying. I have never seen any physical bullying and only once or twice, verbal. I also like how we set up rules and punishments.

Bullying affects me because it happens and I could be bullied because I'm different that most people. Bullies shouldn't bully kids because it's wrong and unfair. Being mean is not right.

You can ask the bully to stop and ask a teacher to help you. People remember those things.

The bully programs help because they make the bullies feel guilty.

The bully programs showed me not to judge a book by its cover. It's showed me how many kinds of bullying are extremely hurtful.

The bully program has helped me a lot because I really didn't know the types of bullying before and I know how I've been bullied and how I can prevent it at BES now. The programs are helpful because fifth graders are the leaders so we need to set a good example.

Bullying stinks! Bad things are remembered. Just like seeing a red card in a bunch of set out white cards. It stands out. Be nice and have good karma. Have a bully-free life!

I like the bully programs here because it keeps people safe and happy instead of sad and depressed. It helps keep kids making the right decisions.

I like the bullying programs in Berthoud Elementary because every new kid is comfortable and wants to stay. I also picture new kids in other schools bullied and hurt.

This helped me because bullying will be stopped if I see a millisecond of it. It helped me understand why my friends and family once bullied me. Thank you, PBIS, for helping my school!

I hate bullying. It is not polite and is rude. Most of the time people are misjudged. To prevent bullying be nice to everyone no matter how they look. Prevent bullying all the time. If bullying is prevented the world can be a better place. With your help the world can be a better place!
